  3. What do these have in common? • Art of the Medieval Times>>> • Most art during this time had religious ties, and mostly dark/muted colors, notice there is no/hardly any pink.

  5. Most common subjects of medieval art • Nearly all Romanesque art was of Christian themes. • It was about representation of Christian concepts, this also helped to set an atmosphere of devotion, while illustrating Christian stories to a largely illiterate public.

  6. role of the church within Medieval art • The church had a major and vital role within the medieval artwork expressed at this time, some of the artists were: Donatello, Giotto, Leon Battista Alberti, Cimabue, and Filippo Brunelleschi. • The themes of the artwork (again) were exclusively religious.
