  4. Arguments of Definition • What is the nature of something? Example: Is cheerleading a sport? OR Is a fetus a person?

  5. Arguments of Quality • What is the quality of the entity? Example: Is Ford better than Chevy? OR Is Obama better than Bush?

  6. Proposal Arguments • What action should be taken? Example: What can we do about poverty? OR Should the government support stem cell research?
