  10. Transit Dose • Need to correct for transit dose if shipping TLDs offsite • Need to carefully select shipping vendor • Packing Geometry may become most significant factor in the TLD data

  11. Lessons Learned • It’s never too early to start preoperational data acquisition • Pre-operational data may be more relevant than control data when estimating dose attributable to operation • Carefully monitor transit dose if shipping TLDs offsite • Use PICs and duplicates for QA
