2008 Survey Administration • 3,157 MSU students sampled, with 1074 responding • 34% response rate (up from 25% in 2007) • National response rate: 39% • 2008 respondents closely mirrored MSU population according to race/ethnicity • Likely a non-response bias that favors the more engaged, more positive students
