Joint Development work with WHHT • The PCT, WHHT and its advisors will work together to consider the wider strategic service and estates issues as they affect the development of the Hemel site. • This will allow the LGH to be developed in such a way that allows the PCT to meet its obligations under DQHH, but that also provides WHHT with the flexibility to deliver the right combination of services from its sites. • In addition a joint appointment of IHP, a multi disciplinary partnership of independent advisors, has been agreed to look in detail at the LGH and site options. • A Hemel Strategy Steering Group has been established to include members from the PCT, WHHT, the SHA and IHP. • This group has set a target milestone for delivering a business case to the PCT and WHHT of May 2012.
