The ImproX Hardware New Components Adding Increased Functionality
Flash Memory ... Both the Controllers and Terminals utilise this memory. This allows for certain improvements on our previous systems 1 - The ability to store Logical Addresses Addressing Scheme: S S H H C C T T 0 1 0 1 0 1 0 3 2 - Remote Firmware Upgrade The ImproX hardware can be upgraded on site utilising the firmware upgrade utility ‘ImproX FU’. It is no longer necessary to replace EPROM‘s each time a firmware upgrade is required.
Increased Communications Speed ... Memory Modules ( RAM ) ... Controller Coms : (port 2) 38400 baud Terminal Coms : (port 1) 38400 baud By adding these modules to the Advanced Controller, the number of tag holders supported and transactions buffered are increased by 20 000 per module.
Switch Mode Power Supply ... Onboard Termination Resistors This Module provides an increased input range of 8V DC to36V DC on both Terminals and Controllers
