Some quick facts It costs 9 cents a day per person to provide library services Last year loans decreased by 8% and visits by 3% (affected by Eltham closure) while attendance at activities grew by 4% Averaged out, last year each person in the region made 3.8 visits and borrowed 9.9 items The average number of times an item was borrowed last year was 7.6 Yarra Plenty has the highest number of loans in the State It was the first library service in Victoria to implement RFID to all branches and the first to offer wifi at all branches Our customers are happy – an approval rating of 8.07 out of 10
