Office of Program Development and Funding Electronic Grants Management System Tutorial #2: Creating a Quarterly Progress Report
GMS Allows you to create and submit your Quarterly Program Progress Reports Online. Begin by selecting “Progress” from the Menu Bar.
The Project Grid is returned. Select the Project you want to report on by clicking on it.
If you have reports submitted, they will be listed. Select one by clicking on it. To begin a new report, click “New”.
This is the Progress General screen. Select the period you want to report on, and other pertinent information. SAVE.
Now select the Workplan Outcomes tab. You will see the Contract Workplan displayed. Click on a Task to enter the Outcome for that Task.
The Task will be listed at the top of the screen for reference. Enter any outcomes, unanticipated outcomes, and/or Quantitative Results for that Task. SAVE.
When you have entered all your Outcome data, your Workplan Outcomes will look like this. If finished, click “Submit”.
NOTE that submitting your Progress Report will lock it to further edits. Do not submit if you have not finished. Note: You may send OPDF file attachments (case reports, press clippings) via the Attachment Module in the left menu.
Once you have submitted your Progress Report, GMS will return you to the Progress General Screen. Note that there is now a submission date listed on the screen.
Your submitted Progress Report will be saved into the GMS system. Notification will be sent to DCJS that a Progress Report is ready for review. Remember that Quarterly Progress Reports are due within 45 days of the end of each quarter: Jan – Mar… due May15 Apr – Jun…due Aug 15 Jul – Sept… due Nov 15 Oct – Dec… Feb 15 Thank you for viewing this Tutorial.
