Conclusions • Substitution of glass fibers with natural fibers is environmentally beneficial (recycling and landfills). • Technologies for achieving equivalent/superior component performance should be the focus of research • Natural fibres have enormous potential to be used in composites, since offer cost savings, environmental benefits and reduced component weight • Issues of toughness and variable properties must be resolved • Cellulosic nanofibers are very useful in different area of our live and in industry. • NF products are NOT confined to the automotive industry
The Future The future of the materials based on FPC composites at macro, micro or nano scales depend on many factors, such as: • Identification of new products; • Quality of the products; • Consumers perception; • Performance of the products; and • Identification with innovation
