Today’s Fairness Focus Today’s Focus: Be open-minded about your own gifts and treat yourself with dignity and kindness. In short, be fair to yourself. Today’s Lesson Objective: Identify one negative opinion you have about yourself and replace it with a positive one.

Quick-Write Directions Respond in writing to each of the reflection questions. Write nonstop without concern for writing conventions. The writing is a reflection tool and the time is strictly for thinking.
Quick-Write Reflection Respond to the following prompts: • How does Nick Vujicic’s positive attitude allow him to find purpose and joy in living? Reflect on specific ideas he shared or activities and engaged in as you respond. • Identify one way in which you criticize yourself.
