The Other Wiseman. “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” . This passage forces us to move from a virtual Christianity to the nitty-gritty day to day reality of serving God. Christianity is more than giving our money.

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of thesebrothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
This passage forces us to move from a virtual Christianity to the nitty-gritty day to day reality of serving God.
Christianity is more thangiving our money • We are not generous so God will approve, but generous so we can share the love of Jesus with those around us • Use your free time to God’s glory • Use your retirement to God’s glory • Jesus never talked about buildings or attendance
God is challenging us with benevolence • He put us in this location • He is sending people to us • We are becoming known as a church that helps people • Meeting to determine how to integrate benevolence and outreach
God is challenging us to build • Need classrooms • Pushing the maximum here in auditorium • Must not let building interfere with the other things God is calling us to do
Which Wiseman will we be? • One of those who gave a great gift and went home? • One like Artaban who spent his life serving God in whatever manner was put in front of him?
