  2. Athens - Spetses / 58 miles Spetses Spetses is a small green island that lies at the entrance to the Argolic Gulf. In ancient Greece Spetses was called Pytiousa because of its many pine trees. Worth visiting here are the square Dapia, the house of LaskarinaBouboulina – a private museum today which is open to visitors and the monastery of AgiosNikolaos. The most popular beaches are AgiaParaskevi and Ag. Anargyri. The capital of the island, Spetses, has several bars, clubs and many lovely little cafes. day 1

  3. Spetses – Hydra / 23 miles Hydra Hydra lies between the Saronic and Argolis Gulf and is close to Athens. The island is famous for its nightlife, fine restaurants, villas, shops and traditional architecture. There are many churches and monasteries on the island open for visitors. The most popular beaches are Molos, Palamida and Kaminia. day 2

  4. Hydra – Athens / 46 miles Athens Athens, the capital of Greece, is the birthplace of Western civilization. Athens is a city with a wide variety of things to see and do. The first place you should visit is, of course, the Parthenon. Other archaeological sites include the agora, the market, with the temple to Hephaistos, the temple to Zeus and the arch of Hadrian. At the Syntagma Square you can visit the Tomb of the Unknown soldier. The colorful Plaka neighborhood is also worth a visit. Athens is also famous for its nightlife. The most popular beaches are in Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza, NeaMakri, CrysiAkti, Lagonisi, Kavouri and Alimos. day 3
