M&E Activities • Capacity strengthening • Identifying and promoting state-of-the art tools and methods • Strengthening community of practice • FSN M&E Task Force • Regional events to share methods, tools and promising practices.
M&E Task Force • Goal: Improve the effectiveness of Monitoring and Evaluation of Food Security and Nutrition programs. • Objectives: • Ensure that the priorities of implementing agencies are reflected in donor guidance; and • Identify and disseminate successful methods, tools and practices;
Progress so far… • Developed Goals and Objectives • Developed Core Competencies for M&E Professionals • Developed a self-assessment tool • Contributed to the revision of baseline and end-line required indicators • In the process of identifying state-of-the-art IMTs (Information, methods and tools)
