Wag News Southern Region Level 1-10 State Stream Trial 1 Mahima and Isabelle attended the Southern Region trials in August Congratulations girls on your results: Mahima in Prep 1 received a score in the third category for each apparatus and then a forth category for overall. Isabelle in Prep 2 received a score in the third category on Vault and Beam and then fourth category on bars, floor and overall. Official results are available via our website www.ingleburn.gymnastics.org.au GG News Thank You Thank you to all the parents who are helping out with the set up and packing away of our equipment it is helping our club run that much better. Trampoline News Owen makes the Team Owen Gilbert qualified for the Australian Double Mini team and is off to Bulgaria in November. Owen attended the recent Worlds Qualifier in QLD and qualified for the team when he won 2nd place in Senior Men’s Double Mini he also came 2nd in Senior Men’s Individual Trampoline. The Australian Club Nationals Championships were held at the same event and Owen became the 2013 Senior Men’s Australian Club Nationals Champion in Double Mini and place 8th in Senior Men’s Individual Trampoline. We are very excited for Owen and wish him the best of luck on his 3rd adventure overseas for an international championship. 2013 Combined High School Championships Two of our Trampoline girls attended the Championships in Gosford at the beginning of the month. On day one Jessica B won gold with a very snappy display for the 14yrs women's Single Mini Trampoline and won Silver in the 14yrs women's Double Mini Trampoline. On day two in the 15yrs age group Brittany M proved a strong contender becoming the 15yrs women’s Champion after she won gold on the Single Mini as well as on the Tumbling track and won Silver on both Trampoline and Double Mini. Brittany then competed in the prestigious Champion of Champions event where she won 3rd place. What a fantastic achievement from both girls, well done. Fundraising News Cadbury Chocolate Fundraiser Thanks to all the families who took a box or two to sell in this year’s chocolate drive, money was due back on 20th September, if you have not brought back your money please do so first week back for term 4, if you still have chocolates left over please bring them in and we can sell them in the canteen. Uniform News New Tracksuits and New Singlets for Sale We have a range of new tracksuits and singlets for sale that are clearance stock. Tracksuits limited sizes $50 a pair (jacket and pants) Training Singlet limited sizes $10 There are limited sizes available so please get in quick. Old Stock Clearance We have also have a range of pre-loved stock including training leotards, club leotards, club shirts, and tracksuits for sale at the front counter please see our volunteers for more information. From the Committee Next Meeting: If you have any concerns about our club or wish to help out in any way please feel free to attend our monthly meetings. Next Committee Meeting: Date: 15th October, 2013 Where: Ingleburn RSL Time: 7.30pm The Committee are looking for volunteers to help with uniform orders and some upcoming Bunning’s BBQs, attending meetings will not be essential but feedback is required to the committee via email. If you are available to help with either of these roles please speak to your child's coach or a committee member Positions Vacant Coaching Position Available Our General Gym Division has grown so much this year that we are looking for another coach to join our club, senior or junior (13+ yrs) applicants are welcome to apply.
