Potential cost savings • 1% - 3% of turnover • 5% - 15% energy / water costs • Reducing energy bill by 20% could add the same amount to profits as a 5% increase in sales • 5% - 10% of true cost of waste (20 x the actual disposal cost) = 4% - 5% of turnover or £1000 per employee • UK businesses are missing out on combined cost savings of as much as £10 million per day by failing to maximise the potential of water efficiency • Envirowise Rippleffect initiative offers saving of around 30% on water and effluent bills Sharing KnowledgeSaving Resources
