  2. Assistance Of Services Exports From India Scheme (SEIS) What is SEIS Scheme: SEIS are an encouragement scheme through which, Government breeding Service Exporter by way of several incentives. Through SEIS scheme, the infrastructural incapability attached to the present system of trading in India is calculated to be reduced along with prime focus of generating more employment opportunities and Forex Reserves. Lots of developed and developing country like India encourages exports and goods of services by providing various tax concessions. We know India’s goods are not more attractive at comparison to other countries like USA, UK etc. But India maintains his market. The Government is putting big efforts in encouraging Indian administrator to export products and services, the result is only moderate. The aims of service exports from india scheme to advertise export of services from India. Under this scheme service providers located in India would be compensated under the SEIS Scheme.   3. Assistance Of Services Exports From India Scheme (SEIS) Some of the eligibility criteria: SEIS came with its own eligibility criteria which have been listed under the new FTP 2015-20 1. Only service providers falling under the categories under para 9.51(i) and para 9.51(ii) of FTP 2015-20 willbe eligible for the benefit. 2.Minimum net free foreign exchange earnings in preceding financial year 3.Benefit will be provided only for the services provided and not for the goods. 4.Service provider should have an active IEC at the time of providing services for which benefit is to beclaimed. 5.Only the services as notified under the scheme of SEIS shall be eligible for the benefitto consumer(s) of any other country than India Services Exports From India Scheme Page 3
