1. The new constitution hasn’t been passed, mostly because of the controversy of adding Buddhism to it.

26. 2007 Basilan beheading incident was an Islamic insurgency between the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rebels, and the Philippine Army which led to the execution of about 14 to 23 members of the Philippine Marines, and beheaded 11 of them on the province of Basilan in the southern Philippines.

34. Aceh has large reserves of oil. Indonesia does not want to give Aceh their independence because of that.

35. Aceh soldiers seek independence from Indonesia.

36. Many Aceh people were killed by the Indonesian government trying to get their freedom.

37. Because of the tsunami, violence has came to a halt between Aceh and Indonesia.

38. Structures for Visual Pollution destroys the beauty of its landscape. This decreases the number of tourism in Jakarta causing money loss.

40. Light Pollution is light energy waste that hinders the Jakarta people’s visibility at night.

41. Traffic in Jakarta causes a disturbance towards their health including deafness and the lack of sleep.

42. Human trafficking has become a wide spread transitional crime.

43. The percentage of people in human trafficking increases because of poverty. Thai people are more willing to sell their daughters for an income.

44. 95 percent of trafficking victims are physicallymistreated and intimidated. Also 60 to 75 percent of the women forced into prostitution are raped. Over two thirds suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome.

45. Male victims of human trafficking were not included under victim protection provisions of Thai law before November 2007.

46. About 300,000 men, women and children are trafficked across Asia each year, accelerating the spread of HIV/AIDS between the ages of 19 through 44.

47. The workers have to wear masks to protect themselves from the toxins in the room and the medical facilities at factories are sparse.

48. Vietnamese workers make $l.60 a day1,300 workers at the Sam Yang factory went on strike to demand a one cent per hour raise in wages. Other issues include excessive and illegal overtime and compensation for working with hazardous material.

49. Without any chance of an education, women are forced to work at a young age in an attempt to support their families. There is no opportunity to change their current state and must continue working in these conditions as long as they can.

50. The workers must work at crowded workplaces for 16 hrs a day 7 days a week and are sometimes forced to work overtime.
