Utilize your CTC Consultant Free technical assistance and support • Year-Out Pre-Visit • Emails • Phone Calls • Two Month-Out Pre-Visit Once the visit starts—CTC Consultant is the protector of the process
Year-Out Pre-Visit • Year-out Pre-Visit: Full day of technical assistance from your CTC consultant CTC Consultant can meet with • Dean or Director • Accreditation planning committee • Department chairs • All faculty and staff
Early Preparation Self-Study (Common Standard response and all program standard responses) • Submit 5-6 months ahead for CTC consultant to pre-read and pose questions • Discuss with CTC Consultant • Organization of your documentation • Schedule for the visit
Scheduling the interviewsResponsibility of the Sponsor! • Candidates • Graduates • Faculty, Staff and Administration • Employers • Field Supervisors • Advisory Boards, if appropriate
Interviews (cont.) • Consider the standards the team member is responsible for—Common Standards or a specific program • Individual interviews with all full time faculty • Group interviews with candidates, graduates, and field supervisors • Separate interviews: Across programs and role groups
Triangulation Team members are asked to consider multiple sources…interviews across difference role groups and documentation provided by the sponsor—Make it EASY for them! • Provide team with all role groups on Monday and Tuesday • Provide minutes of meetings • Provide candidate files and advising documentation
