Boxing • Boxing is Physical Contact sport, you fight for points based on your hit percentage, knock downs and mainly if you win the rounds. • 100 through 1,000 or more for 4 round fights, 5,000 or more for 6-8 round fights,10,000 or more for a decent undercard fight. 25,000 or more for a decent primetime fight. 100,000 dollars or more for a main event cable primetime fight. Quarter to a million in an undercard pay-per-view fight. 3 million to 10 million in a main event pay-per-view fight. 10 million to 40 million or more in a super fight.

  3. Training!!! • A boxer’s training program must focus on his reactive power, power endurance, muscular endurance, anaerobic endurance and aerobic endurance. • Agility and reaction time are vital components of a boxers armory. Foot and hand speed, reactive power and hand-eye co-ordination can all be significantly improved with proper conditioning.

  4. Gear • In Boxing a person wears a few things such as boxing gloves, a mouth piece, a waist guard, shorts, shoes and until you get into the pro’s a helmet.

  5. Schedule • Boxers will usually train 2-4 hours a day depending if they have a fight coming up. When a fight is scheduled they usually train 4-6 hours a day then take a break on Friday and Sunday so the body can rest. • Beginners will train 1-2 hours a day but take off Wednesday, Friday and Sunday so their bodies can adjust.
