  1. “English-Adverb”CLASS-6

  2. Topic - Adverb The words that modify a verb, an adjective or another adverb are called adverbs. Example: My brother looks really handsome. We have 4 different kinds of adverbs: 1. Adverbs of manner which show us the way an action is done (well, badly, nicely) 2. Adverbs of place which show us the location of the action (here, there, outside) 3. Adverbs of time show us the time of the action (now, soon, later) 4. Adverbs of frequency show us the frequency of the action (always, never, sometimes) In the English language, we can put an adverb in different positions in a sentence: front position, mid position and end position. There are various rules according to which we may place an adverb in a sentence. There are various methods through which we may form adverbs from different parts of speech such as adjectives, prepositions, nouns, conjunctions and verbs. Example: bad + ly = badly.
