  2. Vocabulary • Adaptations – a part of an organism that changes to help an organism survive • Organism – a living thing

Plant Adaptations Centers • You will be going to different centers and looking at different plants • You will have 5-7 minutes at each center • At each center you need to do the following: • Write the name of the plant • Draw a neat and accurate drawing of the plant • Answer two questions: • What external systems does this plant have? • What do those external systems do to help this plant survive?

  4. Closure • Choose two plants from the exploration. How were these two plants similar? How were they different?

  6. Assessment • After watching the movie answer these two questions: • What external structures does the Venus Fly Trap have to help it survive? • How it is different from other plants we have studied?
