eFA/ePAC • What is eFA and ePAC? • Deployed January 7th • eFA 523 processed by OSP & GCA • ePAC 307 processed by OSP & GCA • Positive feedback from OSP & GCA offices
eFA & ePAC When GCA processes an item, then an email is sent to the following persons/roles: • PI • Admin Contact • Budget Contact • eGC1 Creator • Reviewers for the Org Code Receiving Funding • Bug found and fixed – if you were expecting an award, please check with your PI &/or use Status Checker

Description of Functionality • eGC1 & Sponsor forms are together • Some data pre-populated • eGC1 data, UW Performance Site, Signing Official, Cognizant Agency • Document upload process easier • Validation check prior to routing • Required data fields & attachments • Status notification is automated • Tracking #, Assurance #, status & errors listed within SPAERC & SAGE
The Wizard is Coming, The Wizard is Coming! • SAGE is changing to support new functionality • User can create a new eGC1 or continue in the wizard for a Grant Runner application • “Create eGC1” displays a new multi-step wizard process that asks start-up questions • Org code receiving funding • Sponsor • Modular budget • Opportunity number • Principal Investigator • Full title, start/end dates, application type
Asks the least number of questions • If the Grants.gov opportunity #s is not supported by Grant Runner then the user goes to an eGC1 • If the org code has not yet been deployed then the user goes to an eGC1 • Eligible applications will continue through the wizard
