Twitter Lingo • “Tweet”=to post a status update. • “# or hashtag”= Post before a relevant keyword or phrase (no spaces) in their Tweet to categorize those Tweets and help them show more easily in Twitter Search. • “@ or handle”= The @ sign is used to call out usernames in Tweets, like this: Hello @Twitter! When a username is preceded by the @ sign, it becomes a link to a Twitter profile. See also Replies and Mentions. Read more about replies and mentions.
“Lurk”=read and follow a twitter feed, without posting. Like “Facebook Stalking”

Gradebook • HAC letters with log-in information will be coming home this week. Be on the lookout! • Remember to log-in to the HAC. • Email alerts do not allow access to teacher comments about individual assignments or students. The email alerts only send grade averages. • Visit the office if you encounter issues with the HAC.
