De L’Armee, Kigali, Rwanda E-mail : drpc@kist.ac.rw Phone : +250727111007/ +250783570896 KIST Research, Publication and Consultancy In line with its mission of teaching, research, consultancy, and service to community, the Kigali Institute of Science & Technology (KIST) established the Directorate of Research, Publications, and Consultancy with the following mandate: To be the custodian of the Institute’s research, publications, and consultancy policies. To be responsible for the implementation, monitoring, evaluation/review of the policies. To co-ordinate all Institute-wide activities related to research, publications, and consultancy services. To generate income for the Institute, particularly through projects and consultancy bids. To create a motivating and vibrant atmosphere for research, publications, and consultancy among staff and students throughout the campus. To actively search for opportunities for research, publications and consultancy that will benefit the KIST community and the country at large. To popularize the KIST consultancy services in all key sectors of the economy. To cultivate research and consultancy partnerships and network s with universities, the Industry, and other key institutions/organizations in Rwanda and abroad. To disseminate/share knowledge accrued from research activities to the public at large . The Directorate of Research, Publications and Consultancy is currently staffed by a Director and a Research officer.
