Announcements • One more coat – painters see Mitch • Abrlgd now avb: • Abbreviations legend: v. = verse; ch. = chapter; cp. = compare; eg. = example; f = see next verse also; ff see next several verses
All Things New • Lk23.43, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with me in paradise." • Not just any park but "the paradise of God" or park of God (Rev 2:7) which for believers will be a place of future happiness. • The third heaven is the current dwelling place of God. It’s the place where Jesus ascended to after His resurrection and the place Christians go when they die.
The fullness of heaven is mostly beyond the ability of finite man to describe or understand (1 Cor 2:9). • Heaven is portrayed as a place of “no mores.” • In the eternal state, there will be aperpetual state of newness. • We will ever be filled with appreciation
What will we do? • Serve - • See - • Reign – • You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Ps 16.11
What a Day That Will Be There is coming a day,When no heart aches shall come,No more clouds in the sky,No more tears to dim the eye,All is peace forever more,On that happy golden shore,What a day, glorious day that will be.
Chorus What a day that will be,When my Jesus I shall see,And I look upon His face,The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,And leads me through the Promised Land,What a day, glorious day that will be.
There'll be no sorrow there,No more burdens to bear,No more sickness, no pain,No more parting over there;And forever I will be,With the One who died for me,What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,When my Jesus I shall see,And I look upon His face,The One who saved me by His grace;
What a Day That Will Be When He takes me by the hand,And leads me through the Promised Land,What a day, glorious day that will be.
