Marcela Kane Lantrip Schlumberger Technology Corporation Between September 2000 and November 2004, Marcela Kane Lantrip worked as the Assistant Tax Manager OFS North and South America and then the Assistant Tax Manager WesternGeco North and South America at Schlumberger Technology Corporation. She was responsible for the preparation of tax compliance for US domestic entities and also contributed to reviews of tax compliance for the company’s foreign entities. Marcela Kane Lantrip is an international tax professional who has experience working in tax jurisdictions all over the world. Having worked with five global companies, she is able to bring together a wealth of knowledge to the benefit of Halliburton, where she currently works as the Senior Manager of International Tax. Though she was born in Latin America, she also holds U.S. citizenship.

Marcela Kane Lantrip was born in Lima, Peru in 1974, but moved to Bogota, Colombia four years later. She spent four years in the country before moving to Quito, Ecuador with her mother and grandfather, the renowned journalist and writer Carlos Villar-Borda. She returned to Bogota in 1984, completing a large part of her formal education before moving to the United States to start her career in earnest.
