AT1 investigation: sweat and cooling • Investigate if a body cools faster if it is wet. • You need to design a fair investigation • You need to identify: • Independent variable: the variable you change every time you carry out the experiment. • Dependent variable: the same variable you measure every time – the one you think will be affected by the independent variable. • Control variables: the variables you keep the same every time you carry out the experiment.

  2. Equipment • A body can be presented by a plastics bottle of water. • You can use damp paper towels. • You will also have access to elastic bands, thermometers, hot water, stop clocks, beakers.
