2. TIME MAGAZINE APRIL 3, 2006 Time: • The image of Earth as organism—famously dubbed Gaia by environmentalist James Lovelock—has probably been overworked, but that’s not to say the planet can't behave like a living thing, and these days, it's a living thing fighting a fever.

4. 2 PETER 3:10 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

5. GLOBAL WARMING?IS AL GORE RIGHT? If we take the Bible literally, earth will get so hot that it will all burn up, BUT, that is at the very least 1007 years from today [more later]! So Al Gore is a bit right, but his timing is more than 1000 years off, and it will not be a gradual process, IT WILL BE A FLASH.

6. Al Gore assumes a poorly designed earth which responds to changes by making them worse; when there is much true science that supports the idea that earth has many built in corrective responses, especially in relationship to our sun and seas, which no effort of man can alter or improve.

7. October 14, 2007 • ONE of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works“.  • Dr William Gray, a pioneer in the science of seasonal hurricane forecasts told a packed lecture hall at the University of North Carolina that humans were not responsible for the warming of the earth.

October 14, 2007 • Dr. Gray’s comments came on the same day that the Nobel committee honored Mr. Gore for his work in advertising and promoting the hypothesis that there is a link between human activity and global warming.  • "We're brainwashing our children," said Dr Gray, 78, a long-time professor at Colorado State University. • "They're going to the Gore movie [An Inconvenient Truth] and being fed all this. It's ridiculous."

9. October 14, 2007 • "The human impact on the atmosphere is simply too small to have a major effect on global temperatures,” Dr. Gray said.  • He said his beliefs had made him an outsider in popular science. • "It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something they know is wrong," he said. "But they also know that they'd never get any grants if they spoke out. I don't care about grants."

10. August 2007 • “You wouldn’t know it from Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth, but there are many upsides to global warming:…” says Dr. Fred Singer, Professor Emeritus of Environmental Studies, University of Virginia, (Imprimis, Aug. 2007, p.1). Also: Distinguished research professor at George Mason University, president of the Science and Environmental Policy Project; Ph.D. in Physics from Princeton University; founding dean of the School of Environmental and Planetary Sciences at University of Miami; founding director of the U.S. National Weather Satellite Service; past vice-chairman of the U.S. National Advisory Committee on Oceans and Atmosphere.

11. Dr. Fred Singer is one of the most qualified environmental scientists in the world, and he is not at all concerned with the present liberal and celebrity faddishness that we are about to be destroyed by human-generated global warming. • Dr. Singer says: “In the past few years there has been increasing concern about global climate change on the part of the media, politicians, and the public. It has been stimulated by the idea that human activities may influence global climate adversely and

12. that therefore corrective action is required on the part of governments. Recent evidence suggests that this concern is misplaced. Human activities are not influencing the global climate in perceptible ways. Climate will continue to change, as it always has in the past, warming and cooling on different time scales and for different reasons, regardless of human action. I would also argue that—should it occur—a modest warming would be on the whole beneficial. • WHAT….?

13. FRED SINGER BS (Ohio State), MS, PhD (Princeton) continues: • “This is not to say that we don’t face a serious problem. But the problem is political [Is Al Gore a lifetime politician or a credentialed PhD scientist?]. • Because of the mistaken idea that governments can and must do something about climate, pressures are building that have the potential of distorting energy policies in a way that will severely damage national economies, decrease standards of living, and increase poverty. This misdirection of resources will adversely affect human health and welfare in

14. in industrialized nations, and even more in developing nations. Thus it could well lead to increased social tensions within nations and conflict between them. If not for this economic and political damage, one might consider the present concern about climate change nothing more than just another environmentalist fad, like the Alar apple scare or the global cooling fears of the 1970s. Given that so much is at stake, however, it is essential that people better understand the issue. After all, the geological record shows a persistent 1,500-year cycle of warming and cooling extending back at least one million years” (Dr. Fred Singer) [The 1500 year cycles are evident—but only for about 6000 years: depending on your worldview.]

17. Dr. Patterson continues: • In some fields the science is indeed "settled." For example, plate tectonics, once highly controversial, is now so well-established that we rarely see papers on the subject at all. But the science of global climate change is still in its infancy, with many thousands of papers published every year.

18. In a 2003 poll conducted by German environmental researchers Dennis Bray and Hans von Storch, two-thirds of more than 530 climate scientists from 27 countries surveyed did not believe that "the current state of scientific knowledge is developed well enough to allow for a reasonable assessment of the effects of greenhouse gases." About half of those polled stated that the science of climate change was not sufficiently settled to pass the issue over to policymakers at all.

20. “Beginning to plan for adaptation to such a cool period, one which may continue well beyond one 11-year cycle, as did the Little Ice Age, should be a priority for governments. It is global cooling, not warming, that is the major climate threat to the world, especially Canada. As a country at the northern limit to agriculture in the world, it would take very little cooling to destroy much of our food crops, while a warming would only require that we adopt farming techniques practiced to the south of us.”

21. R. Timothy Patterson concludes: • “Meantime, we need to continue research into this, the most complex field of science ever tackled, and immediately halt wasted expenditures on the King Canute-like task of "stopping climate change."

22. Dr. Tim Patterson is Professor of Geology at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He received both a B.Sc. in Biology (1980) and a B.A. in Geology (1983) from Dalhousie University, Halifax, N.S. and a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1986. After brief stints at the University of Southern California and University of California at Berkeley he joined Carleton University in 1988 as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Full Professor in 1999. • He is Canadian leader of the International Geological Correlation Program Project IGCP 495 "Quaternary Land-Ocean interactions" and is Principal Investigator of a Canadian Foundation For Climate and Atmospheric Sciences project studying high-resolution Holocene climate records from anoxic fjords and coast lakes in British Columbia.

23. February 25, 2007 • “The endless hysteria and alarmism over alleged global warming has increasingly become a national and international nuisance and loses credibility with every passing day. 24. National Geographic November 1976“What’s happening to our climate?” p.581 • “From 1880 to about 1940 the world—particularly the Northern Hemisphere—went through a period of significant warming….but since about 1940, there has been a distinct drop in average global temperature. 25. “During the last 20 to 30 years, world temperature has fallen, irregularly at first but more sharply over the last decade.” • U.S. National Science Board, 1974, as quoted in National Geographic Nov. 1976, p. 581.

26. “England’s annual growing season shrank by 9 or10 days between 1950 and 1966, Hubert Lamb has noted (Britain’s University of East Anglia). In the northern tier of the U.S. Midwest, summer frosts again occasionally damage crops. • Sea Ice has again returned to Iceland’s coast after more than 40 years of virtual absence. Glaciers in Alaska and Scandinavia have slowed their recession; some in Switzerland have begun advancing again. National Geographic, p. 281. • Earth’s spinning motion steers…an ever-changing weather system.”

27. NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, 1975 • The climates of the earth have always been changing, and they will doubtless continue to do so in the future. How large these future changes will be, and where and how rapidly they will occur we do not know.

28. The Age, April 7, 2003“Research casts doubt on global warming” • “Claims that man-made pollution has caused unprecedented warming have been undermined by research that shows the earth was warmer in the Middle Ages” (800-1300 A.D.) • “The review by a Harvard University team…proves that the world had a medieval warm period between the 9th and 14th centuries with world temperatures significantly higher than today.”

29. The hottest temperatures recorded in the U.S.A. were in the 1930’s peaking in 1934 and were hotter than the “global warming mantra” of Gore and the “Greens” that 1998 and following have been the hottest on record.

30. Al Gore, and his environmentalist friends have told us only one side of the story!

31. A CASE IN POINT: • Al Gore likes to point out that the Upsala glacier of Patagonia is retreating. • But “Just fifty kilometers away from Upsala is Moreno, which is growing, and thereby calving. Claims of Moreno’s retreat are typically danced around without brazenly lying about it “melting,” and are pure fabrication and illustrative of the lengths to which environmentalists go to dishonestly frighten people.” Christopher Horner, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and Environmentalism, D.C.:Regenery Pubs., 2007, P. 223.

32. Horner continues: Other much larger glaciers nearby are advancing without the pleasure of angst-ridden eco-tourists and pencil-gnawing journalists. In fact, “While in the same region in Patagonia, either in the Argentinean or Chilean sides, there are small glaciers on retreat, there are other medium sized glaciers in stable condition, and really big glaciers growing at record speed and volume.” [http://mitosyfraudes.8k.com/Ingles3/UpsalaEng.html.] • For example, South America’s largest glacier, Pio XI, is growing very quickly. The greens and media just missed it, that’s all, another case of not seeing the forest for being busy hugging trees. (Horner, p. 224)

35. Does earth have a history of environmental and ecological disasters? How did earth begin? According the Bible, the God of the Bible created everything in six days and it was “very good.” (Genesis 1:31) It was also a warm climate with mild seasons (Adam and Eve were both naked in the Garden of Eden=warm and no clothing needed). (Genesis 2:25)

36. ON THIS EARLY EARTH: • It did not rain, “…for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth,… 6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.” (Genesis 2:5-6) • Man and animal ate vegetation (Genesis 1:29, 30). • There were mild seasons (Genesis 1:14) • There was probably one land mass with 4 rivers flowing out of the one river (Genesis 2:10-15). • The earth was pole to pole greenhouse warm (giant trees and palm tree fossils in Alaska, broad leaf ferns in the Antarctica, warm temp animals frozen solid in New Siberian Islands, but today willows 1”).

37. THE FIRST ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTER • Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit (The Fall) and the earth and everything in it was cursed. • …cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Gen. 3:17b-19

38. 1st Ecological disaster = The Fall2nd Eco disaster = The Global Flood • 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. • 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth (Gen. 6:11-13). • 12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights (Gen. 7:12). THE FIRST RAIN!

39. THE FIRST MIGHTY WIND • 1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; 2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; 3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated (Genesis 8:1-3).

40. THE FIRST MENTION OF COLD WINTER • 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease (Genesis 8:21-22). • No longer mild seasons, but heat and cold = • FIRST RECORDED GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE • No longer harvest any time all year long. • Earth now a harsher place to live • After the Flood: meat eating now approved by God for man and animals (see Genesis 9:1-5).

41. THE FIRST MENTION OF ICE AND SNOW • 14 To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend; but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty. 15 My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks they pass away; 16 Which are blackish by reason of the ice, and wherein the snowis hid: 17 What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place. Job 6:14-17

42. Ice and snow and hail and frost had a beginning after the flood(Job 38:29) “29Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?” • Ice and snow are kept in “storehouses” which are probably the polar ice caps (Job 38:22) “22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail?” (treasures, treasuries, storehouses)

43. 1ST RECORDED MAJOR DROUGHTAn Environmental Disaster • 10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land (Genesis 12:10). • The drought was so intense and prolonged that Abraham was forced to move his family to Egypt to find food and water.

44. Earlier I mentioned that at least 1007 years are left to earth history before God burns it all up. How can such a statement be made?

45. Starting today more than 1000 years remain in earth history! • The Premillennial Escatological theological position believes that the Creator Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ, (see in the Bible John 1; Colossians 1; Hebrews 1) will leave His throne in heaven to come to rule on earth from Jerusalem in the last days before He destroys earth and all it contains by fire. While He reigns the curse will be removed and the earth will bring forth its increase as not seen since the days of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

46. REVELATION 20:1-8 • 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

47. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. REVELATION 20:1-8

48. During this unique 1000 year reign of Creator Jesus (John 1; Colossians 1; Hebrews 1) Who alone is the Messiah and Savior of mankind (Isaiah 53; Psalm 22; John 3; Romans 3:23-24, 6:23, 5:8; 10:9-13; 1 John 5:10-13; Ephesians 2:8-10), the curse caused by the sin of Adam which brought disease, decay and death to planet earth (Romans 5:12, 1 Corinthians 15:20-22) will be removed (Acts 3:18-21). The fear between man and beast initiated in Genesis 9:1-5 will be removed and life-spans greatly increased for man and beast.

49. ISAIAH 11-6-9 • 6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. 7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
