Dillingham Point Dillingham Point and Penobscot Bay out to the Atlantic
Our summer house in Camden was originally built in 1880 as a vacation property for Edwin Dillingham. It has served as a summer cottage ever since. Our family purchased the property in 1964. The style of the cottage and the location make it one of the most quintessential summer homes on the coast of Maine.
The property is a close walk to the picturesque village of Camden
Camden is located on Penobscot Bay in mid-coast Maine. Penobscot is the largest and most scenic bay on the coast of Maine. Camden is known for its small town charm and beauty and is described as… “Where the mountains meet the sea.” “Peyton Place” was filmed here as were many more recent films.
