Sptember 2008 ADS is a support system for maintenance of databases • consisting of a central technological solution (ADS administration system) • including interfaces for processing address data and providing address services, and databases processing address data • of requirements for • form of addresses, • establishment of geographical addresses, • the chief processors of address data, • the chief processor of the ADS administration system, • address services • the processing of addresses

  6. Sptember 2008 ADS includes the following data • place names • geographical addresses • coordinates of address points • the dates of commencement and termination of the validity of the address data • information on the status of address objects • spatial addresses • and others …

Sptember 2008 National Place Names Register • Official place names shall be entered in the National Place Names Register • The set of data concerning place names in the national cartographic database shall constitute the National Place Names Register • General principle: interbase cross-usage of information

Sptember 2008 Estonian National Topographic Database (ENTD) • To manage and organize the production of topographic data covering the whole territory of Estonia • To provide the society with up-to-date and high-quality data and products • To provide state and local government databases with spatial data • To implement the directives of European Parliament and of the Council establishing an infrastructure for spatial information in the community
