  2. Luke 21:28 – Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near. (NKJV) Mark 13:32 –However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. (NLT)

  3. Kierkegaard: And so will our age . . . go down in fiery destruction to the applause of a crowded house of cheering spectators.

  4. Daniel 12:4 – But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.

  5. Total Body of Human Knowledge • AD 1-1700 – human knowledge doubled • AD 1700-1900 – doubled again (200 yrs) • AD 1900-1950 – doubled again (50 yrs) • AD 1950-1970 – doubled (20 yrs) • Today – Knowledge doubles every 18 months

  6. Daniel 12:9-10 – But he said, "Go now, Daniel, for what I have said is kept secret and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means.

  9. Jewish Rabbis • Lunar Eclipse – bad sign for Israel (Lunar Calendar/30 day cycle) • Solar Eclipse –bad sign for Gentiles (Gregorian/Solar Calendar). • 4 Blood Moons – 2 + 1 + 2 = God’s Judgment on the world

  10. Did God put signs in the heavens? Genesis 1:14 – Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years.(NKJV) • Signs = signals

  11. What did Jesus say about the signs in the heavens? Mark 13:24-27 – But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened [solar eclipse], and the moon will not give its light [lunar eclipse]; 25 the stars of heaven will fall [meteorites], and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

  12. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.(NKJV)

  14. Joel 2:30-31 – And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke[war on earth]. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness [solar eclipse], and the moon into blood [blood moon/lunar eclipse], before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.

Acts 2:15-20 – For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservantsI will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.

  16. 19 I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. [War on earth] 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,and the moon into blood [4 Blood Moons], before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. 21 And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (NKJV)

  17. Acts 2:19-20 – 19 I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. [Gog & Magog War] 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood [4 Blood Moons], before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.

  18. Howpowerful are angels? Matthew 26:53 – Do you think I cannot call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels? (NIV) • Legion = 6,000 Roman soldiers • 12 Legions X 6,000 = 72,000 angels How powerful is 1 angel?

  19. Isaiah 37:36 – Then the angel of the Lord went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning — there were all the dead bodies! • 1 angel =185,000 men in one night What could the combined power of more than 72,000 angels do? • 72,000 X 185,000 = 13,230,000,000 • Deut. 32:30 Principle: 1 X 1,000 & 2 X 10,000

  20. Conclusion • Are you ready? • Is there anything you need to confess to God? • Who do you need to tell about Jesus?
