  2. 10% Off 15% Off 20% Off 10% off means for every dollar (100 cents) you spend, you subtract 10% of $1 which is 10 cents. 15% off means for every dollar you spend, you subtract 15% of $1 which is 15 cents. 20% off means for every dollar you spend, you subtract 20% of $1 which is 20 cents. 10% of $1 = $0.10 15% of $1 = $0.15 20% of $1 = $0.20 10% of $2 = $0.20 20% of $2 = $0.40 15% of $2 = $0.30 10% of $3 = $0.30 20% of $3 = $0.60 15% of $3 = $0.45
