  3. Ejemplos • Es dudoso que la situación política de Puerto Rico cambie en el futuro. • Estoy seguro de que el turismo trae mucho dinero, pero no estoy seguro de que no traiga problemas también. • No dudo de que me graduaré pero dudo de que me gradúe el semestre próximo.

  4. ¿Interrogative sentences? • Either the subjunctive or the indicative may be used. • Use of the subjunctive betrays doubt or disbelief on the part of the speaker or writer. • Use of the indicative indicates that the person speaking or writing is merely asking for information and does not know the answer.

  5. Ejemplos • ¿Piensas que el turismo es beneficioso para el país? (Person is asking for information and does not know the answer) • ¿Piensas que el turismo sea beneficioso para el país? (Person doubts that tourism is beneficial)
