  2. El subjuntivo • In the Spanish language there are three moods. The moods are: • The indicative (states facts and expresses certainty or reality) • The imperative (commands) • The subjunctive

  3. El subjuntivo • The subjunctive is used after expressions of emotion, uncertainty,doubt, desires, conjecture, supposition and conditions that are unreal or contrary to fact.

Tense refers when an action takes place(past, present, future), • While mood merely reflects how the speaker feels about the action. The subjunctive mood is rarely used in English, but it is widely used in Spanish. Porejemplo:
