  3. FSA • Passed on May 27th, 1933 • Restored confidence in American banks • Ensured accurate information disclosure to consumers • Targeted towards the consumers and investors

  4. FSA and Government • Increased Federal hold over securities • Informed consumers • Didn’t increase spending • Increased government involvement in security businesses • Indirectly affected the purchase of securities • Regulated big business federally

  5. Effect of FSA • Ensured that consumers were informed • Affected the consumers in the knowledge that they had of what they were purchasing • Constitutional
