Year 1 meet a creature. We sat in a circle and Dean told us about the rainforest animals. First we met the tortoise, he had a very hard shell. Then we saw the Chinese Water Dragon. What did his skin feel like?. Next we saw the python. He eats dinner every 30 days, and smells with his tongue!.

  2. We sat in a circle and Dean told us about the rainforest animals.

  3. First we met the tortoise, he had a very hard shell.

  4. Then we saw the Chinese Water Dragon. What did his skin feel like?

  5. Next we saw the python. He eats dinner every 30 days, and smells with his tongue!

  6. This is a hissing cockroach. The cockroaches in Africa are very big.

  7. This is Borris. He is a tarantula. We were not allowed to hold him as he sometimes bites!

  8. Morris the giant African Millipede has 600 legs. He will have 1,000 legs when he is an adult.

  9. The tree frog needs to be kept wet. He breathes through his skin.

  10. Sonny is holding Steve the giant African snail. Steve has 4 noses, his mouth is in his foot and he has 24,00 teeth!

  11. This is Rango the chameleon. Chameleons change colour when they are scared. I don’t think Rango was scared today.

  12. Finally, Roger Rabbit came in to school to see us, as he likes to go on trips to schools with Dean and the rainforest animals.
