  2. IN SILENCE: • Think back to the Tropical Island Activity we did at the beginning of the week. Now that you’re 1/3 of the way into Lord of the Flies, what connections can you make between our activity and the boys on the island?

  3. Constructing a Society • What attempts do the boys make to establish elements of society? • Government • Laws (and enforcement) • Shelters • Jobs • Food • Are they successful? Why or why not?
