Child Obesity • In the United States as of 2012 • About ¼ of 2-5 year olds are either overweight or obese • About 1/3 of school-age children and adolescents are overweight or obese • It has increased more rapidly among African-American and Hispanic Children • Higher among children living in the Southern parts of the U.S.
