Our Aims The WWT network aims to improve health and safety performance in the construction industry and thereby help prevent death, injury and ill health, particularly in small and micro businesses
Objectives • Provide free or low cost information, advice and training to employers and workers • Stage events where at least half of the delegates will be from small businesses (<15) and 20% from micro businesses (<5) • Encourage and sustain the development of a nationwide network of regional groups where members can support and advise each other and share good practice throughout the country • Encourage new groups to join the network

HSE’s Small Sites Strategy • Target 15 or fewer (small contractor/business) • Concentrate of a few high risk issues • - WAH, Good Order, Respiratory & Asbestos and Competence. • Clear simple advice & guidance (BB Sheets & HSG 150) • Support and facilitate WWT • - get better buy-in from industry • Use material supply route to spread messages & guidance • Refresh IND(G) 344 – Essential Toolkit
