PROJECT ADVISORY COMMITTEE Comprising persons from various fields including former/present regulators, policy makers, practioners, CSOs, development partners, etc Responsibilities • Advice at the regional level • Comment on few of the key project outcomes/outputs • Act as Ambassadors of the project CUTS is expected to: • Keep the PAC members abreast with project activities • Send event reports/newsletters/update regularly • Seek advise on specific project issues at the regional /national level

REFERENCE GROUP (RG) Comprising persons from various fields including former/present regulators, policy makers, practioners, CSOs, development partners, etc Responsibilities • Advice at the territorial level • Comment on the project outcomes/outputs • Review the progress from time to time • Participated as resource persons during TT Partners are expected to: • Keep the RG members abreast with project activities • Send event reports/newsletters/update regularly • Seek advise on specific project issues at the territorial level

C-CIER AND PROJECT PARTNERS • Preparation of OSN, TOR and Methodology note for conducting perception survey • Draft outline and providing feedback on key outputs • TBP, TTM, event reports, etc • Prepared draft questionnaires for conducting perception survey • Analysed data and shared findings with partners • Facilitated participation of Nodal persons (Nepal and West Bengal): Perception Survey in Rajasthan • Participated in RG meetings & Territorial meetings: get hands-on information from national stakeholders

CHALLENGES • Communication gaps or non-communication between the project team & country partners • Telephone service was used intensively with frequent visits to project countries • Confusion between inter-related terminologies • Examples were provided to clear the confusion • Confusions were clarified during the interactions between the project team and partners • Information not easily available • Baseline consumer survey helped in generating first-hand information

  12. CHALLENGES • Analytical capability of partners • Project team guided drafting of various key documents • Documents received positive comments from NRG/PAC members • Delay in implementation of project • Two months delay in signing of the contract • Taking suitable action to overcome the delay
