BICENTENNIAL UPDATE Schedule of Events 11:00 – Opening Ceremony 11:00 – 1:00 – Arms Trucking (former Claridon Elementary) Open to the Public with DARE and Parent Project representatives on hand. 11:00 – 1:00 – Pioneer Lady with her Oxen 11:00 – 4:00 – Cemetery Scavenger Hunt 11:30 – 12:30 – Musical group “Spirit Bound” 12:00 – 12:30 - Children’s Games 12:30 – Winners of Contest Announced and Recognition of Oldest & Youngest person in Claridon; Longest Cumulative Claridon Resident; Who Traveled the Farthest to Attend; Earliest Claridon School Student; Claridon Couple Married the Longest; First Born & Most Recent Child Born at Geauga Hospital (Please check in before 12:30 to be considered for awards.) 1:00 – 2:00 – The Great Geauga County Fairband 1:00 – 3:00 – Banjo the Clown 3:00 – 3:30 - Children’s Games On Display – Quilts, Flags, Geauga Railroad History, Pictures, Articles, Antique Tractors, Trucks, and Cars.
