  1. EB 5 Immigrant Investment: An Overview The EB 5 visa is the process that allows individuals to get a green card and permanent residency through investment. This visa program helps foreign investors to obtain a green card and become a lawful permanent resident by making an investment in the United States. The investment allows to get a green card so that investors can live and work in the United States permanently with their spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21. This program is operated by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). It was established in the year 1990 by the United States Congress to increase investment in the economy of the United States.

  2. Requirement for EB 5 Immigrant investment To meet the needs, foreign investors are required to invest in the US. The required investment amount is either $900,000 or $1.8 million, depending on the project you choose to invest in. In case, if you invest in a Targeted Employment Area, the investment amount is $900,000. On the other hand, if you invest elsewhere, the investment amount is $1.8 million. Not only this, but also the investment must lead to the creation of 10 fulltime United States jobs for at least two years.
