Today's Warmup Complete the Warm-up by Yourself Always Write in Complete Sentences • Get your computer password from Mr. Drez • Write your password in your agenda and your science log. • Open your Agendas to page 13. • Read the paragraph “Conduct At School.” • Write which of the 11 rules you disagree with OR the rule that is hardest to keep. Write out the whole rule. • Write why you think this rule is wrong or why it is hard to keep. At least 3 sentences.

  17. PowerPoint rubric – 20 Total Points Slide 1 (2 Points) – The title should be either Mutualism, Commensalism or Parasitism. The titles should be attractive and filling the whole slide. Slide 2 (2 Points) – The symbiotic relationship is explained clearly and defined in normal 8th grade language. Slide 3 (2 Points) – Needs to be Lichen for Mutualism, Clown Fish and Sea Anemone for Commensalism and Mistletoe and Tree for Parasitism. Slide 4 (2 Points) – Explains the relationship adequately. Explains how the organisms are harmed, benefited or unaffected. Same but smaller picture needs to be on this slide. Slide 5 (2 Points) – Picture of another example of your assigned symbiotic relationship. Find one on the internet. Slide 6 (2 Points) – Explains the relationship adequately. Explains how the organisms are harmed, benefited or unaffected. Same but smaller picture needs to be on this slide. Slide 7 (2 Points) – A 3rd picture that is different of another example of your assigned symbiotic relationship. Find one on the internet. Slide 8 (2 Points) – Explains the relationship adequately. Explains how the organisms are harmed, benefited or unaffected. Same but smaller picture needs to be on this slide. Slide 9 (2 Points) – The summary has to be at least 3 sentences. Must have your name and period at the bottom. Takes up the whole slide. Neatness (2 Points) – Each slide has correct grammar and spelling. Each slide is full, with pics and text filling the slide.
