  2. Watch • Watch the following introduction to Dickens. • What reason is given for Dickens’ popularity? Objective: To acquire knowledge of Charles Dickens’ life.

  3. What do you know? • On the post-it note, write down everything you know about Charles Dickens. Objective: To acquire knowledge of Charles Dickens’ life.

  4. Biography • Watch the following film on Dickens. • Write down as many facts as you can. • Make sure you listen carefully and note down any important dates. Objective: To acquire knowledge of Charles Dickens’ life.

  5. Create a leaflet about the life of Charles Dickens using the key facts from your notes. Remember to use headings & sub-headings, bullet points & pictures. Create Objective: To synthesise your knowledge of Charles Dickens.
