1 Cup of Plot The story is about the Revolutionary War in Boston, Massachusetts in 1774.It is written like a journal . The book describes what happens to William Thomas Emerson . He is a 12 year old kid that becomes a patriot . William makes friends and goes on spy missions . He helps British soldiers who want to leave the British Army get away . The book also tells what life was like in the Colonies .
2 Teaspoons of CHARACTER The three main characters: William Thomas Emerson , William is an orphan boy who runs away from his second family because they were mean when he was 12 years old . He was walking to a stranger, Boston and was helped by Mr. Wilson . Mr. Wilson took him to Mrs. Thompson and she took care of him . He becomes an important patriot spy . Henry Moody , Henry was William’s friend . They met at the book shop . Henry loved to read . Henry got bite by a snake in a grave yard and William saved him . In 1775 Henry died because he got beat badly by a redcoat or a British solider . Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Thompson was a widow who took William in to live with her . She had one daughter, Becca and a dog named Queen George . She owned a tavern called the Seven Stars Tavern . She was a patriot .
2 Tablespoons of EXCITEMENT William had a secret mission to help a British soldier who did not want to fight in the war for England . William had to meet the soldier at night on a special street . He had to wait for the Church clock to chime 9 times . A short and a tall person met . William . William said the sands of time are running out and the short person said it’s time to choose and not to doubt . The short person who was helping the soldier was a girl , Molly Davis! She was a patriot and Mr. daughter .
