In the afternoon, we offer you pastelitos with mate cocido. Pampa is like this, gauchos, fields, traditions, crafts, a tour to learn and enjoy. ESTANCIA LA ALAMEDA Time passes and La Alameda seems to be younger each day. In 1789, Don Juan Gregorio Girado was already living in these lands by the Chascomús lagoon. There he built up his house, his yards and planted mounts of shadow and fruit trees to start cattle breeding. From then on, time has gone by until today, when the ranch offers the international tourist the best break of these days, keeping a handful of history in each corner. Today we are the Alameda’s present, paying homage to its past and hoping to see its future. IMPORTANT NOTE: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays

  5. DINNER & TANGO SHOW AT "ESQUINA CARLOS GARDEL" Drive towards the southern district of the city to see an unforgettable tango show at a typical tangueria. Enjoy the unique sexual magnetism of the Tango performed by the best tango dancers and singers. It is Buenos Aires own music. Its origins are traced back to the 1880’s, and its birthplace are the suburbs: that accounts for its deep malevolent, sexual, violent and troublemaker contents. Tango is – since its origins – a vital expression mixed up with the particular form of breathing, dressing, talking, and loving of the “porteños” that creates a new style: The Tango Style. Taste the most delightful typical Argentine and international dishes, the specialty is prime beef, with the best local wines in a charming atmosphere with excellent service. A superb orchestra will make you discover the secret of the music of Buenos Aires. With its deep and fine poetry Tango will be performed by the best singers voice.

Anxious to preserve the remains of the famous Italian poet Dante Alighieri, he wanted to construct a building inspired by the poet’s work, “The Divine Comedy”. This magnificent building hides a mixtures of literature, mathematical and franc-masonic hints in its structure. And it has an unbeatable 100mtrs panoramic view of the city from its lighthouse. Once at the Glacier, the visitor is overwhelmed by the impressive spectacle and can appreciate the many unforgettable vistas of the glacier from the walkways. This glacier slides down from the continental ice into Lago Argentino, forming an ice dam. Every now and then, enormous pieces of ice break down and fall with thunderous noise into the lake. The UNESCO declared it World Heritage. OPTIONAL: MINITREKKING This optional excursion complements the full day visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier, included in the main program. Transfer in regular bus service to "Bajo de las Sombras" (in Los Glaciares National Park), to perform a full day of exciting mini-trekking of approximately 1 ½ hour, on top of the Perito Moreno Glacier, provided with grampoons. The excursion begins in the embarking pier located in Bajo las Sombras bay – about 6 kms before the glacier Balconies- where you embark for a 20 minutes navigation across the Rico Arm, enjoying breathtaking views of the glacier’s front walls and Icebergs Channel. You debark on the opposite shore, where specialized mountain guides welcome you and lead you to a small shelter. After checking the last details, groups of 10 follow their guides along the lake’s shore towards the edge of the glacier. Once on the ice, the guides put each participant a pair of crampons on, and explain how to use them. The two hour circuit that follows introduces you to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers: strems, small lagoons, gullies, crevasses and plenty of ice formations of the most incredible blues. The trekking is moderate. The ice surface over which you walk is irregular, but firm and safe. The fall, ideal for a refreshing bath in intense heat days, tours its waters from about 20 meters high. Access is a stairway carved into the ancient rocks. The last stop is the Macuco Safari Harbour, by the Brazilian margin of the Iguazú River. In the water inflatable bi-motor boats are waiting for us, which are certainly built according to the particular needs of this place. They are safe and efficient vessels. Before getting to the boats, the passengers receive life-vests and plastic containers for the protection of photographic and filming equipment. The boat travels up-river passing through the canyon, facing the rapids, at a middle speed that allows the full appreciation of the landscape. Rocks, animals and a lot of greenery complete the stage up to the magnificent falls base, near the "great horseshoe" known as the "Garganta del Diablo" (Devil's Throat). Arriving to the Tres Mosqueteros Fall (Three Musketeers Fall), the pilot manoeuvres the boat in order to get close enough to provide the passengers with a fun and refreshing cascade shower, within an intense blue sky frame and a magnificent rainbow. This is known as the fall baptism. After that, we return down the river to the harbour where the tour ends.

  12. POZO PRETO (Black Shaft) PATH TOUR We depart from the hotel towards the Brazilian National Park in the morning and after arriving to the visitors´ centre, we continue our way through 7 kilometres up to the departing point of our journey. We descend from the bus and walk 200mts through a wooden path suspended at 30cm from the jungle floor. We arrive to a little open space where we get on conventional or electric Mountain Bike riding on a 9 1/2 km way within the middle of the subtropical jungle (Since the beginning a fourtrax comes with us with a cart with sits an bicycle carriers for those who don't want to ride Mountain Bikes or those who are tired). At the end of this path, we get to a refuge where we recover the energy, or take a brief relax or simply share experiences. A hanging bridge leads to a 500mts path to visit the Yacarés pond and the bird observing pole lookout (at 10mts height). Returning from that view point we arrive to the Iguazú River where we climb into motor boats with capacity for 20 to 30 passengers each (in this stop there are toilets), navigating the river while the guide shows us the different aspects of the jungle. After a 4km navigation going up the river, we can see the Papagayos Island, passing through a very slight sliding section. Here the adventure takes again part of our journey, as we get into Ducks (inflatable canoes) and we row through 2km of gentile and quiet water (2mts depth), where at the end of the journey those who wish so may dive into the Virgin Iguazú River. We get back to our powerful motorboat for an 8km way, taking profit of these 15 minutes to take an appetizing (Box Lunch) then arriving to Bananeiras Harbour. Here we get down the motorboats, we charge our energy again (full infrastructure, toilets, bar, etc) for then climbing to a 4x4 Jeep for a 2Km way in the middle of the jungle appreciating the great surrounding flora and fauna, finishing the journey through the Virgin Jungle, and arriving with these Jeeps up to the first viewing point of the Iguazú Falls, in order to start the visit to the 8th Wonder of the World.

  13. ARGENTINE FALLS TOUR The natives who inhabited this region called the most grandiose falls in the World "Big Water". It is nowadays perhaps the best definition to give to this group formed by 275 falls with a flow that may reach 1800m3 per second. Discovered in 1541 by the conqueror Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca, the Iguassu Falls (called by him as Santa María -Saint Mary- Falls), form a semicircle of 2700 meters with falls and cascades of 40 to 80 meters, which constitute one of the most beautiful postcards in the world. The Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) is its main fall, which may form a 30 meters high mist. The Iguassu Falls integrate one of the world principal eco systems. The biodiversity of the National Parks, helped by the subtropical climate with wet season, gives shelter to more than 2000 kinds of vegetables and approximately 700 species between mammals, birds and reptiles. The multicoloured butterflies give an unequalled show. The red land, which owes its colour to one of its components: the iron oxide, encloses a frame of multiple beauties and unforgettable landscapes. This show of nature, considered as one of the World's Wonders, originated 200 thousand years ago in the place that we call today "Three Frontier Landmarks", where the Iguazú River and the Paraná River join.A geological fault produced in the Paraná River bed convert the Iguazú River mouth in an abrupt cascade of 80 meters of height. From that point, where the falls originated, up to the place where nowadays the Garganta del Diablo is located, there is a distance of 23 kilometres, due to the slow but continuous erosive backward movement, in the position of the falls. This great original fall, has turned into two great sinuous arches with an extension of 2700 meters. The most impressive fall of the group is the Garganta del Diablo, with 80 meters of height which is located in the main course of the river. According to the flow of the river, 160 to 260 falls may be admired, which in average pour approximately 1500 cubical meters of water per second. The violence of the fall produces a permanent mist inside of which the sunbeams form multiple rainbows of an insuperable beauty.

  14. OPTIONAL: GREAT ADVENTURE TOUR Within the Argentine National Park, this tour begins getting into 4x4 vehicles in order to make an 8km journey through the Yacaratia path, which allows the visitor accompanied by the guide, to appreciate the flora and fauna of the National Park, where we may see palmitos, palm trees, lignum vitae, araucarias, butterflies, monkeys, rodents, etc. Before arriving the harbour there is a possibility of walking 500 meters by foot through a path within the heart of the jungle of Misiones. Once you arrive Macuco Harbour, after equipping each visitor with its corresponding safe vest, the adventure starts in semi-rigid double engine zodiacs through the rapids of the Inferior Iguazú river, where at the maximum speed the closest approximation to the falls is produced taking the "Baptism" that cannot be lost during which everybody tries to freeze the best pictures full of water and energy. We may see the Tres Mosqueteros, San Martín and Bosseti Falls, among others, finishing the journey and getting down in Cataratas Harbour, near to the Inferior Path. FULL MOON TOUR TO THE FALLS Full moon tour to the falls is a unique night journey. It enables us to experience and put on our skins all the sensations, aromas, views and sounds offered by the Argentine National Park. In the way to the entrance to the park and in order to get out vision used to darkness, we turn our bus´ lights off, so that the road is only illuminated by the moon light that draws fantastic shapes in the night landscape. The anxieties increase in the park entrance. The park rangers are waiting for us at the park entrance and go with us the following 250 meters up to Central Station. Then we get on the ecologic train following its way during 25 minutes passing by the Cataratas Station and arriving to Garganta del Diablo Station, where we descend and walk through the 1100mts footbridge that stands over the wide Iguazú River up to the fall balcony. During the way, we are surrounded by the natural fragrances and the music played by the water falls of the Garganta. At the end of the balcony emotions cannot be explained. The white colour of the falls transforms into a fantastic silver drawing a moon rainbow in the range of grey and silver. Later, we return to Garganta Station, we take the train and we go to the exit with a sensation never imagined before. In order to complete this experience we have the option of having dinner at the National Park before doing the tour, in La Selva Restaurant, which offers a varied gastronomy with national and international dishes. In order to take this option you must ask our guides that shall be ready to help you.

  15. The priests José Cataldino and Simón Masceta founded in the Guayrá region (Brazil), in 1610, the reduction of San Ignacio Miní, together to others that, in 1631, were besieged in a constant way by the Bandeirantes or Mamelucos (Portuguese slave hunters). Only the villages of San Ignacio and Nuestra Señora de Loreto were safe from the attacks in the nowadays Argentine province of Misiones. SAN IGNACIO MINI RUINS San Ignacio Miní was established in 1696 at the place where we nowadays find its ruins. As the other reductions, the Paraguayan destroyed it in 1817. The ruins were totally restored in 1940. Thanks to those improvements, the urban outline of the reduction can be appreciated, with remarkable accuracy. This is one of the best prepared for the tourist visit. It counts with local guides, toilets, interpretative museum, various models and sound and light show. They are kept in a very good condition for the appreciation of what this epic has involved: the temple, the arm square, the dwellings, the school, the cemetery and other places of interest. In its surroundings there are numerous restaurants, bars, hotels and all the necessary for tourist attention.

  16. DINNER AT “RAFAIN" FALLS RAFAIN SHOW Assisting to a Latin American musical and dancing show while tasting a delicious meat barbecue and a varied buffet with all the international level specialties in a cozy environment, really deserves a stop to enjoy it. The difference that this house has in relation to other artistic presentations performed in the city is precisely the cultural ampleness, in addition to the Brazilian, Paraguayan and Argentine folklore, this show has incorporated folkloric elements from other South American, Central American and Caribbean countries. There are almost two hours of Latin American music and dance inserted by a perfect assembly, capable of getting the audience attention and pulling up the clapping in all moments. The guaranias and Paraguayan polkas deserve to be emphasized, specially the famous song "Galopera", that may leave breathless the ones who try to follow the singer. Argentines tango and malambo are not absent to this date, nor the beautiful Andean folklore from Chile up to Peru and the Mexican mariachis. In order to complete this cultural miscellany, Brazilian tradition gets evidenced in the samba, in popular music and in the "capoeira". The ease of the beautiful mulatas and the ritmistas close the scene with a lot of glamour, rhythm and sensuality. Brazilian shaking is contagious and even some clients may risk some dance steps in the room. The show is presented on a daily basis from 9:00 pm, where the passenger participates together with the artists, dancing, singing and even trying their skills. DINNER AT “OBA OBA" This is an Afro Brazilian show with beautiful mulatas, a lot of samba in the feet and ritmistas with the Carioca malandro shaking and first quality percussion. Only the "favelas" and the "morros" are missing in order to reproduce a little bit of Rio de Janeiro in the middle of the Triple Frontier. This lack is replaced by plenty of joy, relaxation and dance from the beginning until the end of the show. The most outstanding moment of the party occurs obviously when the stage is transformed in a "sambódromo". Mestre sala, porta bandeira, mulatas, ritmistas, malandros and tourists that cannot follow the rhythm form part of the stage. The activity also includes tambourine jugglers, accompanied by a strong and rhythmic battery. By its dynamism, the show is full of improvisations by its protagonists, especially when the audience is predisposed to participate of the samba. In that moment it is valid to use the seduction and curves of the mulatas in order to try to get the shyest from their chairs therefore transforming the show in a sensuality cauldron with inevitable indiscreet looks.

  17. DINNER AT “AQVA" We invite you to meet us and enjoy the dishes created specially with products of our region; the meat and the fish (from the Paraná and Iguazú rivers) are the most distinguished for their quality. The “Surubí”, the “Dorado” and the “Pacú” are the best to surprise you! We complete our menus with exclusive pastas, as the “Surubí” raviolis and some other creations with chicken and pork. LUNCH AT “FORTIN" LUNCH AT “PUERTO CANOAS" We offer the typical argentine barbecue, with meat of the highest quality, inside a natural frame declared Patrimony of the Humanity. A varied buffet complements this offer, composed by hot and cold dishes, plus a great variety of salads and local desserts. In this area you will also find public phone services and a local souvenir shops. In the National Park Iguazú, outdoors with the pure air of the jungle the soft aromas of the special dishes mix.
