Guidelines CCE Awards 2012 aim to • Reward cleaning products and technologies that are innovative, cost-effective, environment-friendly, ergonomic and well recognized and widely accepted by China’s market in 2011. • Compliment industry players who made prominent contributions to China’s cleaning industry or provided innovative solutions to end-users in 2011. • Advocate CCE 2012’s theme of “Green Cleaning, Healthier Life” to propel the advancement of China’s cleaning industry and the entire Chinese society. • Enhance its participants and winners’ influence in the industry by broadcasting their innovative products, technologies and contributions to the general public.

10. Participants must be exhibitors of China Clean Expo 2012 (9-12 April, 2012). All products, technologies submitted must be originally designed, developed and produced. Supporting documents include ownership of intellectual property right or patent. Application forms and all related supporting documents must be submitted to the organizer on or before 20 January, 2012. Selection Criteria Eligibility

11. Selection Criteria • Each participant can submit no more than 2 products/technologies to apply for a particular award. But each product or technology can apply for different awards. • Application forms must be filled out in details to show how the application is in line with the award definition*. • Supporting documents must be certificates or reports from third parties rather than participants' own report. • The organizer has the right to check the eligibility and submit qualified materials to the judging panel. • The organizer has the right to use all text and pictures submitted by participants for publicity purposes. • No financial charge is involved in CCE Awards 2012. The organizer doesn’t require any cost from the participants, nor is the organizer responsible for participants’ own expenses. • The organizer tries to make the awards judging fair and just. All adverse comments, doubts, appeals should be sent to the organizer before 7 April, 2012. Reports after this deadline will not be processed. 12. Selection Criteria Nomination requirements • Reviewed by the judging panel, each of the nomination criterions are scored on a scale showing how applications are in line with award definitions. The top three applicants achieving the highest total score advance to be nominees, who will compete for winners after public notice. • Winners cannot take nominee awards at the same time. • The judging panel will discuss and decide the final nominees when there will be same total scores. • Representatives of participants are required to do an onsite presentation and oral defense (8 April, 2012) with the judging panel to let judges learn more details and make right decisions.

13. Award definitionOutstanding Contribution Outstanding Contribution awards honor industry insiders that made special contributions to the cleaning industry as well as other end-user industries. Outstanding Contribution Award for Cleaning Industry honors the companies that • Act to promote the social status of cleaning industry in China • Invest and act on corporate social responsibility (CSR) • Widely recognized and accepted by users • Make other efforts to broadcast green concept to the cleaning industry and the society

14. Award definitionOutstanding Contribution Outstanding Contribution awards honor industry insiders that made special contributions to the cleaning industry as well as other end-user industries. Outstanding Contribution Award for different end-user industries should meet the shared requirements as follows. (Specific names of awards and the respective industries are listed in the table below) • High market share • Specific cases of providing cleaning services or supplying cleaning products to new major state or provincial projects in 2011 • Acknowledgements from the property owner of the aforesaid projects • Increased cleaning efficiency by innovative process or products • Green and eco-friendly concept implemented in the whole cleaning process Awards and the respective industries (specific cases required) • Outstanding Contribution Award for Commercial Cleaning: hotel, restaurant • Outstanding Contribution Award for Industrial Cleaning: factory, warehouse • Outstanding Contribution Award for Personal & Home Care: general public and family • Outstanding Contribution Award for Public Cleaning: hospital, school, cinema, airport • Outstanding Contribution Award for Municipal Cleaning: public square, street, park • Outstanding Contribution Award for Indoor Environment Quality: clean room, air purifying system

15. Award definitionTechnology Innovation Award Technology Innovation Award honors companies that develop technology to propel the advancement of the cleaning technology. Requirements of Technology Innovation Award • Launched after January 2011 to China’s market. • Originally developed. Copying is strictly prohibited. • Already applied to products on the market and well recognized by the market. • Help to make the final product more green, environmental friendly and energy saving.

16. Award definitionProduct Innovation Product Innovation awards honor yearly innovative products that meet the requirements as follows. • Launched after January 2011 to China’s market. Originally developed. Copying is strictly prohibited. • Comply with state standards and provide mandatory after sales services. • Green, environmental friendly and energy saving and high performance-price ratio • Still on the market by the end of 2011 and well recognized by customers. This category includes the following awards and their respective requirements.
