  2. Learning Intention We are learning to write about oceans.

  3. What is an ocean? An ocean is a very large expanse of sea, in particular, each of the main areas into which the sea is divided geographically: "the Atlantic Ocean".

  4. What are the four main oceans? • 1) Pacific ocean is the largest in the world. • 2) Atlantic ocean is the second largest in the world. • 3) Indian ocean is the third largest in the world. • 4) Arctic ocean is the smallest ocean in the world.

  5. What is an ocean current? An ocean current is a moving thing by moving it the waves pushes the ocean current to move it any way and it shows up in the night.

  6. How deep is an ocean? The ocean is deep than the hotel and the deep's about 4,267 meter deep.

  7. Why are the Oceans Salty? As water flows in rivers, it picks up small amounts of mineral salts from the rocks and soil of the river beds. This very-slightly salty water flows into the oceans and seas. The water in the oceans only leaves by evaporating (and the freezing polar ice), but the salt remains dissolved in the ocean - it does not evaporate. So the remaining water gets saltier and saltier as time passes on.

  8. What is the deepest ocean? The deepest ocean in the world is the Pacific Ocean.

  9. What are the interesting fact about oceans? • There are mountains, volcanoes and deep trenches in the ocean. • Oceans are always moving. • The average temperature of all ocean is about 39 degrees Centigrade.

  10. Self-assessment Positive feedback • My work is neat. • My work have nice pictures. • I don’t have any mistake. My next learning step • I have to add more details. • I need a few pictures.
