  2. Eventtourism – oneoftheyoungest, butsoughtafterinvariousdirectionsofinternationaltourism. EachyeartheEventtourattractsmoreandmoretouristsfromallaroundtheworld. Accordingtothecalculationsofsociologistsintheforeseeablefuturevisitsto a variouseventswouldbethemaingoalformorethan 10% ofinternationaltourists

  3. ThetaskofpromotingtouristarrivalsincorporatedinthedevelopmentstrategyofKazakhstan'stourism, correlatedwithlong-termplansforeconomicandsocialdevelopment. Kazakhstanhassignificanthistoricalandculturalheritage, economicandintellectualhumanpotential. Infact, brandsareformedon a numberofkeyimages, makingthestaterecognizedintheinternationalcommunity.

  7. Accordingtothe UNWTO GeneralSecretaryTalebRifai, asexpressedbyhimonthe IV AstanaEconomicForumMay 3, 2011, aneventsuchasthe 7th AsianWinterGames, playedintheformationofKazakhstan'stouristpublicimagemoreimportantthanallthebrandingeventsofthelast 7 years.

  8. PreparationsfortheAsianGameshad a positiveimpactontheinfrastructureofcities. The «Almaty» airport, BigAlmatyRingRoadandstock of vehicles havebeenupgraded. Electricalnetworkcommunicationshavebeenupgradedaswell, completelyrefurbishedsportscomplexesofMedeuandChimbulak.

  9. WinterUniversiadeinAlmaty, accordingtoorganizers, willbethemostinnovativeinthehistoryofuniversitysports. Willberealizedthemostdaringandoriginalideas, inparticularinthefieldofenvironmentalconservation. Theseideaswillaffecttheorganizationoftrafficflows, architecturalanddesignideas, newtechnologies, ticketsalesandinformationsupport, etc. Forexample, allvehiclesoftheUniversiadewillbetranslatedintolowemissionfuel. FortheconstructionofAthletesVillagewillusethelatestideasinenergyconservation. Fororganizationalandlogisticalprocesseswillactivelyapplynewsolutionsininformationandcommunicationtechnologiesbasedonmobilecommunications.

  10. Ethnographicsketcheswerepresentedtotheguestsatthespecialeventsvenues. Thetenthavebeenintroducedas a openplacenexttoit– taykazany (hugevatsforcooking), andlittletooneside – altybakany (Turkicswing). Itisdemonstratedthedailylifeoftheancientvillage.

  11. In 2010 FestivalisheldinAlmatyApples (AppleFest), whichshouldreturnthestatusofthesoutherncapital «ofapples» andbeguntorevivethefamousapplevarieties. Forthesecondyearthefestivalattractsparticipantsandspectatorsfromaroundtheworld (USA, Russia, England, Hungary, China, Kazakhstan)

  12. TheorientationoftheRepublicofKazakhstantothereceptionoflargeinternationalandregionalexhibitionsandconferencesduetoitsfavorablegeopoliticallocation. Event – a greatwaytonotonlyattractforeigntouriststothecountry, butalso a fashionevent, abletointeresttouriststovisittheStateforotherpurposes. However, thehostingofmega-events – isnottheonlywaytodevelop a tourismeventinthecountry. Multi-confessionalandrichcultureofallpeopleslivinginKazakhstancanserveas a good «source» event. Developingandpromotingtheinternationalmarket, nationalandlocalfestivals, carnivalsandfestivals, thematicallyrelatedtotheSilkRoadbrand, youcancreate a steadystreamofinternationaltouristsevent.

With a significantpotentialfortheorganizationofreceptionandserviceofforeignvisitorsofvariousrank, Kazakhstanremainsthesceneofmajorpolitical, economicandsocialtransformation, whichhasattractedtheattentionoftheinternationalcommunity. Atthesametime, thestrategicobjectiveistoprovidenotonly «sites» underthemajorinternationalevents, butalsothecreationandpromotionofitsown, anoriginalevent-product.
