No counts and due to the gene being recessive the assumption is that all of the F1 offspring carry a single dose.
F1 mated pair from original cross Female Ghost(S/+ -+/a - +/pb) Male Silver(+/a - +/pb)
Combined count of heterozygous pb and wild type due to recessive nature
F2 Silver (+/+ -+/pb or +/+)Heterozygous for blue gene or isn’t a carrier Blue Silver (+/+ - pb/pb) Homozygous for blue gene

I would like to acknowledge the hard work that Mr. Ken Kennedy did in bringing the true nature of this gene to light because without his contribution we may not be enjoying this beautiful new mutation.Based on the above information I believe it is very obvious that this is a new mutation. It is a recessive gene on it’s own Loci with no known Alleles at this time. I ask at this time for The Angelfish Society to recognize and approve the name chosen by Mr. Kenneth Kennedy.Philippine Blue (pb).
